Ringo -- acrylic on canvas, part of the Chrystal Shawn collection A painting I did featuring the fab Beatles' drummer Ringo Starr. Not very original, I copied the image from a poster that was from Look magazine in the '60's, but I had a lot of fun painting it and I believe it does do justice to the original. Bob's your uncle!

Lightbulb -- acrylic on canvas Inspired by an image on a vintage postcard, a naked bulb dances with its shadow quietly informing young teens the risks of pregnancy.

Braf! Braf! -- acrylic on canvas Inspired by my G.I. Joe lunchbox and a post-it note by my brother, it symbolizes the loss of communication and absolute confusion of war. The primitive helicopters bring to mind old arcade game graphics while reminding us that war is not a game!

Monkey No. 4 in Yellow -- acrylic on canvas, part of the Matt Frazier collection I feel that the monkey screams out at the injustices we consumers feel at the hands of the movie theater industry. $5 for a medium soda?!! Matt loved the monkey so much that now he carries it everywhere with him, on his arm.

Six Was Too Hard -- acrylic on canvas America has been branded as the "lazy country" and I think this painting proves the point. Everyone knows the Japanese are much better at math so why bother trying?
